Relationships
This unique piece, designed to bounce
light off the corners of a room, is a patchwork quilt
of found steel welded onto a steel spring for movement. Four
lights are mounted behind openings cut in the quilt and
bent brass screening shades are held in place. The
result is a stunning sculpture and a powerfully warm
light. 7' X 2' X 1' (put in both pix )

Elements
Three simple pieces of rusted sheet
metal begin the piece. Details of pencil rod and
steel lines, brass mesh screen light shades and a spring
coil steel base bring this piece to its completed harmony,
an ode to the majesty of nature. 6' X 22" X 1'

Venus
Contrasting forms of steel energize
this piece. A steel cylinder rises up to support an almost
female shape created from patches pieces of sheet steel.
Cascading across the surface are light-catching holes
resembling a star shower. Soft light glows from behind,
enhancing the flowing upper forms of finished steel panels.
